'Hard to Please'

Sometimes, life sucks.

You do something, thinking quietly to yourself - ‘I’d better do it the way it has always been done. That’ll be safe’.

Outcome:
‘Why the hell do you always do things the same way? Can’t you be a little more creative?’

Then you do something else, thinking quietly again to yourself - ‘This time, I think it’ll be better to do it another way.. that will prove I’m creative enough.’

Outcome:
‘Why the hell do you always try to do something funny? Can’t you keep it simple - like the way you always do it?’
